Die Präsentation beabsichtigt eine Diskussion über den Begriff des „Bergkinos“, nämlich welche Rolle das Bergkino, das mit Halil Dag charakterisiert wird, innerhalb des „Dritten Kinos spielt“. Sowie welche Merkmale das Bergkino hiervon differenzieren? Ausgehend von der Behauptung, dass wir nicht von einem kurdischen Kino oder „Kurdistans-Kino“ sprechen können, stellt sich die Frage wie dieser Diskurs dann den Begriff des Bergkinos konstruiert?
Im Grunde beabsichtigen diese Fragen über die Heimatlosigkeit, oder das Bild des „Berges“ die Eröffnung einer Diskussion, die jenseits des Kinos in einem reelen Raum statt-findet und dem Begriff des Berges immanent ist.
Die Präsentation findet in türkischer Sprache statt, jedoch besteht die Option einer Übersetzung ins Deutsche.

The presentation we will make with the title of ‘Mountain Cinema’ aims to discuss ‘Mountain Cinema’ as a concept. Why and how can ‘Mountain Cinema’, which is characterised by Halil Dağ cinema, be defined in ‘Third World Cinema’? What are the distinguishing features of ‘Mountain Cinema’ from Third World Cinema? How can the discussion of Kurdish or Kurdistan cinema as a concept not be mentioned? How does it set up Mountain Cinema as a concept?
Essentially these questions; It aims to create a discussion area within the concept of mountain as a real space beyond cinematic space. Besides that, other elements of the discussion: the concept of ‘homelessness’ and ‘the image of the mountain’ in the cinema.
The event will be held in Turkish and translated in silence to English.

“Dağ Sineması” başlığıyla yapacağımız sunum, bir kavram olarak “Dağ Sineması”nı tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Halil Dağ sineması ile karakterize olan “Dağ Sineması”, Üçüncü Dünya Sineması içinde neden ve nasıl bir yer tutar? Ayrıca Üçüncü Dünya Sineması’ndan ayırıcı özellikleri nelerdir? Bir kavram olarak Kürt veya Kürdistan sinemasından bahsedilemeyeceğini iddia eden tartışmamız, bir kavram olarak “Dağ Sineması”nı nasıl kurgulamaktadır?
Esasta bu sorular; “yurtsuzluk”, sinemada “dağ imgesi”, sinemasal mekanın ötesinde gerçek bir mekan olarak dağ kavramlarına içkin olarak tartışmaya açılacaktır.
